Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the dogs sleep?
The elderly dogs sleep on the beds with the humans. Puppies sleep in crates in the kitchen. Our frequent visitors sleep with their favorite people. There is a grooming and crate room for dogs requiring large crates to sleep in.

Do all the dogs get along?
All boarding guests are preinterviewed, at which time they are introduced to dogs one at a time in the yard. We do not board any dogs who are dog aggressive or human aggressive. The toy dogs are grouped only with similarly sized toy dogs, so there is no trampling under the feet of labs and goldens. Youngsters are grouped together so they can play the puppy games which the older dogs don't find very amusing. Basically, dogs are turned out with their likeness.

Will my puppy remember me?
Yes. People worry about this but forget that their dogs sense of smell is an instant memory card. We have never had a dog forget their owner.

How many dogs do you take?
We are full when we have 10 guests. The board train limit is two puppies at any time. This is why it is important to book early especially on holiday peak periods.

Do you board un-neutered or intact female dogs?
No. It's too disruptive to the pack.
